The Great Controversy describes the "Great Controversy theme" between Jesus and Satan, as played out over the millennia

from its start in heaven, to its final end when the world is destroyed and recreated. The author claimed to have received numerous visions from God, and then produced this book from those visions.

Originally written to help Adventists prepare for the end times before Jesus returns, later editions were more of an evangelistic tool. The first edition was published in 1858, with later editions in 1884, 1888, and 1911.

The author herself valued this book "above silver or gold",[1] and recommended it to be circulated to all.[2] It is one of her most significant and appreciated works, and many have converted to the Seventh-day Adventist faith through reading it.


Is the third volume in the Conflict of the Ages series based on the gospels account of the life of Christ in Matthew, Mark Luke and John. Ellen White’s classic on the life of Jesus focuses on One who stands at the center of all human history. No one else has had such a profound influence on Planet Earth as Jesus Christ. As Menurut kebiasaan-Nya pada hari Sabat Yesus masuk ke rumah ibadat

Lukas 4:16,31 (16)"Ia datang ke Nazaret tempat Ia dibesarkan, dan menurut kebiasaan-Nya pada hari Sabat Ia masuk ke rumah ibadat, lalu berdiri hendak membaca dari Alkitab. (31) Kemudian Yesus pergi ke Kapernaum, sebuah kota di Galilea, lalu mengajar disitu pada hari-hari Sabat.

Murid-murid setelah Yesus di salibkan (Setelah Hukum Dipalangkan?) mereka tetap ke rumah ibadat pada hari Sabat (Tetap memelihara Hukum Sabat?)

Kis 13:14 "Dari Perga mereka melanjutkan perjalanan mereka, lalu tiba di Antiokhia di Pisidia. Pada hari Sabat mereka pergi ke rumah ibadat, lalu duduk disitu (15) Setelah selesai pembacaan dari hukum Taurat dan Kitab nabi-nabi....

Kis 13:42, 44 (42)"Ketika Paulus dan Barnabas keluar, mereka diminta untuk berbicara tentang pokok itu pula pada hari Sabat berikutnya (44) Pada hari Sabat berikutnya datanglah hampir seluruh kota itu berkumpul untuk mendengar Firman Allah".

Kis 16:13 "Pada hari Sabat kami ke luar pintu gerbang kota. Kami menyusur tepi sungai dan menemukan tempat sembahyang Yahudi, yang sudah kami duga ada disitu; setelah duduk, kami berbicara kepada perempuan-perempuan yang ada berkumpul disitu".

Kis 17:2 "Seperti biasa Paulus masuk ke rumah ibadat itu. Tiga hari Sabat berturut-turut ia membicarakan dengan mereka bagian-bagian dari Kitab Suci,"

Menurut Kebiasaan-Nya, pada Hari Sabat Ia masuk ke rumah ibadat, murid-murid setelah penyaliban Yesus tetap masuk ke rumah ibadat setiap Sabbat (Mayoritas Kristen saat ini mengatakan bahwa Sepuluh Hukum, termasuk hukum keempat yaitu Hukum Sabat sudah di palangkan/di batalkan di kayu salib). Mengapa mayoritas Kristen di dunia saat ini beribadah kepada Allah pada hari Minggu yang mana tidak sesuai dengan kebiasaan Yesus?, adakah ayat di dalam Kitab Suci menyatakan bahwa Peribadatan Sabbat akan di ubah ke hari Minggu?

Baca baik-baik apa yang telah di lakukan oleh si "Tanduk Kecil"

Daniel 7:25
"Dan (1) Ia akan mengucapkan perkataan yang menentang Yang Mahatinggi, dan
(2) akan menganiaya orang-orang kudus milik Yang Mahatinggi;
(3) ia berusaha untuk mengubah waktu dan hukum, dan mereka akan diserahkan ke dalam tangannya selama satu masa dan dua masa dan setengah masa.

Garis bawahi kalimat "mengubah waktu dan hukum", si tanduk kecil telah berhasil mengubah waktu dan hukum hari beribadah Sabat di ubah ke hari Minggu yang mana tidak terdapat di dalam Kitab Suci dari Kejadian sampai Wahyu. Bacalah baik-baik Sejarah dan Fakta di bawah ini agar kita dapat memahami/menyadari akan hal ini sehingga kita dapat dengan sadar memutuskan untuk mengikuti manusia (perintah/ajaran/tradisi manusia) atau mengikuti yang Maha Tinggi Yesus Kristus Juruselamat dan Tuhan kita.

Matius 15:8,9 "(8) Bangsa ini memuliakan Aku dengan bibirnya, padahal hatinya jauh dari pada-Ku. (9) Percuma mereka beribadah kepada-Ku, sedangkan ajaran yang mereka ajarkan ialah perintah manusia."

Matius 7:21-23. "(21) Bukan setiap orang yang berseru kepada-Ku: Tuhan, Tuhan! akan masuk ke dalam Kerajaan Sorga, melainkan dia yang melakukan kehendak Bapa-Ku yang di sorga. (22) Pada hari terakhir banyak orang akan berseru kepada-Ku: Tuhan, Tuhan, bukankah kami bernubuat demi nama-Mu, dan mengusir setan demi nama-Mu, dan mengadakan banyak mujizat demi nama-Mu juga? (23) Pada waktu itulah Aku akan berterus terang kepada mereka dan berkata: Aku tidak pernah mengenal kamu! Enyahlah dari pada-Ku, kamu sekalian pembuat kejahatan!

Yohanes 14:15. "Jikalau kamu mengasihi Aku, kamu akan menuruti segala perintah-Ku.

1 Yohanes 2:3. Dan inilah tandanya, bahwa kita mengenal Allah, yaitu jikalau kita menuruti perintah-perintah-Nya.

Yakobus 2:10, 11 (10) Sebab barangsiapa menuruti seluruh hukum itu, tetapi mengabaikan satu bagian dari padanya, ia bersalah terhadap seluruhnya. (11) Sebab Ia yang mengatakan: "Jangan berzinah", Ia mengatakan juga: "Jangan membunuh". Jadi jika kamu tidak berzinah tetapi membunuh, maka kamu menjadi pelanggar hukum juga.
